
In addition to these special events on the schedule, we will have ongoing exhibits/displays.
- Display of photos and items showing how the Railroad ran through Hillsboro
- Kemp Museum will be open plus the Mac Truck Display
- Exhibit of Plants used for food/medicine/dye by Abenaki and early colonists.
- Abenaki basket making, Abenaki food project, and a model of an Abenaki birchbark canoe
- Franklin Pierce Barbeque Oven (used during celebration of his becoming US President)
- Trail guides, Maps, and a 3D model of the Contoocook River from Rindge to Hillsboro
- Display of the Mills across the river from the park
- Silent Auction with items such as:
- Abenaki basket made by the 6th graders with Sherry Gould
- New fishing pole donated by Morse sporting Goods
- New 6×9 rug donated by Eaton’s Furniture
- Railroad pictures donated by Dale Russell
- Tee shirts, magnets, books for sale on topics related to Contoocook River and Kemp Park area
